In the Middle Ages in Europe, a system developed that organized people into different roles. The types of people involved in the Feudal System are involved in roles you may already be familiar with!
Have you ever seen a movie or read a book that involved kings, queens, or knights? There are many references in modern day movies and books with characters in these roles. What do you already know about kings, queens, knights, castles, and other related medieval people?
The Feudal System in the Middle Ages in Europe was a way of organizing people by social class or rank. There are different ways of organizing the people involved, but typically the roles of people in the Feudal System are broken into four main categories.
