Did you notice the colors are part of a pattern?

A pattern is something that repeats itself within one group of objects.

Look at the set of colors below. What two colors do you see? Share your answer with your parent or teacher.

Great work! You see the colors green and red. The pattern that is shown below is: green, red, green, red, green, red, green, red.

Take a look at the colors below. Which two colors do you see? Share your answer with your parent or teacher.

That's right! You see blue and purple. What is the pattern? Share your answer with your parent or teacher:

Did you say the pattern is purple, blue, purple, blue, purple, blue? Excellent work! You did a fantastic job figuring out that pattern. Are you ready to try out a harder one? Look at the pattern below. Tell your parent or teacher what colors you see and identify the pattern:

Did you say the three colors are blue, orange, and green? Nice job! Were you able to figure out the pattern? The pattern is blue, orange, green, blue, orange, green, blue, orange, green. The same colors repeat over and over again.
