If you have explored the earlier Related Lessons in this Money series, found in the right-hand sidebar, you have learned so much about coins!

Did you remember all the names of the coins? Pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters are the names of the coins you learned about.

Take a look at the chart of coins below. This chart will tell you how much each coin is worth and the name of the coin. Read through the chart with your parent or teacher.

Now you know the name and value of each coin. This will help you use money when you need to pay for things. Knowing the names of the coins will help you identify how much money you have and use it correctly. Wasn't it fun to sing along with the coin value song? Now that you remember the coin names and their values, you will be able to compare coins. Do you know which coin is worth the most? Tell your parent or teacher.

That’s right! A quarter is the coin that is worth the most. Take a look at the chart below to see different coins compared. This chart will show you which coins are worth more, and how many coins you would need to add up to another coin:

After looking at the chart, tell your parent or teacher which coin is worth the least.

That’s right! The penny is worth the least amount of money.
