Do you know what the days of the week are? Share your answer with your parent or teacher.

The seven days of the week are listed below. Ask your parent or teacher to read aloud the days of the week.

• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday

Those are the seven days of the week. They always stay in that order. Can you repeat the days of the week with your parent or teacher?

Think about what your week is like. What do you usually do on each day? Do you play sports on Tuesdays? Do you play with friends on Saturdays? What are some things you do on Mondays? Think about some activities you do each day of the week. Share your answers with your parent or teacher.

The days of the week are important because they help people remember what their responsibilities are for the day. For example, if you never knew what day it was, would you be able to go to your sports practice on the right day? Would you know when to hang out with your friends? The days of the week help people figure out when important events, activities, and holidays are happening.

Take a look at your calendar. What day is it? Tell your parent or teacher. What day was yesterday? What day is tomorrow? Share your answers with your parent or teacher.
