Welcome to the final lesson in the Capitalize It! lesson series.

Throughout this lesson series, you have learned the rules for capitalizing words in your writing. Tell your teacher or parent the three times you capitalize letters.

Think about what you learned in previous lessons. You may have told your parent or teacher that you capitalize letters when you write a proper noun, the word "I," and the word at the beginning of a sentence.

In this lesson, you will use capital letters when you write the days of the week and the months of the year. To review the skills from this lesson series, turn and tell your teacher a name and place that begin with a capital letter.

While you watch the video, look for when to use a capital letter in a date:

The days of the week and months of the year all begin with a capital letter. Holidays also begin with a capital letter. Turn and tell your teacher the days of the week and the months of the year.
