Taiga Lake

Plants

  • mostly coniferous trees (these trees don't lose their leaves)

  • Trees are cone-shaped to keep snow from breaking their branches.

Animals

  • Mammals have thick — or sometimes multiple coats of — fur to stay warm.
  • Some animals migrate to warmer climates during the winter.
  • Some animals hibernate during the winter months and come out during the summer.
