What is a verb?
A verb is a word that shows an action or a state of being. Run, jump, talk, sleep, and walk are examples of verbs.
A regular verb is a verb whose past tense is formed by adding a -d or -ed to the end of the verb.
What is a past tense verb? A past tense verb is a word that expresses an action that has already happened or a state of being that previously existed.
Look at the words on your list. Do you see what is the same about each word? That is right! Each word is a verb and each word ends in -ed.
Read each word. Speak or write a sentence using each regular verb.
